Rebecca Denton

I am very passionate about massage, bodywork, and holistic subtle energy therapy. I have always been interested in helping the body achieve wellness through natural means, which led me to begin massage school in 1996.

I graduated from Health Enrichment Center in 1997 with my first-year massage therapist diploma. This was when I began Intuitive Touch. I was interested in learning more and so I pursued my education with Health Enrichment Center. I continued with school for a total of five years, graduating with a Masterbodyworker diploma. I also taught for Health Enrichment Center, first interning, and later as an instructor. In 2014, I completed my education with a bachelor's degree from Siena Heights University with a major in massage therapy. I am currently an Alpha Sigma Lambda member of Siena Heights.

Since 1999, I have been facilitating bodywork / subtle energy therapy workshops privately and publically. I also organize workshops at Intuitive Touch.

I have worked with different types of clients with a wide array of needs. I love to work with deep tissue / trigger point therapy, relaxation / stress reduction services or subtle energy therapies. I do my best to listen and adapt what I do in order to facilitate the body to heal itself. I love my job, business, and mostly my clients. I learn something from everyone, and this helps me develop and grow as a human being and as a massage therapist.
Cheri Ames

Cheri Ames

Hi, my name is Cheri Ames. Several years ago, I suffered a serious back injury. I visited doctors, chiropractors, and surgeons, but nothing helped. Finally, I found myself with a massage therapist. By then, I chose to treat my injury naturally. The massage therapist educated me about the connection between my body and mind and the effects of natural treatments. My health, back, and general well-being greatly improved.

After my injury healed, I attended the Flint School of Therapeutic Massage. I graduated in 2004 and immediately began to work in this field. I had worked in several different environments and alongside many chiropractors. I am skilled in Swedish / relaxation massage, and very skilled in deep tissue massage, pain management, trigger point therapy, and treatment of certain injuries.

I’ve worked extensively with people before and after their surgeries, and those with scar tissue restrictions, joint replacements, after stroke paralysis, temporomandibular joint issues, and muscular imbalances. I have also worked with geriatrics, athletes, and those who just want to unwind and relax.

Doing therapeutic massage has been the most gratifying work I have known. I love helping people feel better. It's very important to me that my clients are relaxed and comfortable throughout the session. As an experienced therapist, I am committed to helping my client achieve positive results. I enjoy my work and hope to meet new friends along the way.

Ileta Sullins, LMT

One of the main purposes of my life as a facilitator is to help people heal themselves. I believe that the most important massage is the one that you receive, and I am committed to providing a professional, compassionate service for you each and every time.

When I was young, I used to massage my mother's back in order to relieve her of pain from an auto accident. This was when my passion for massage therapy and natural healing techniques began. In 2006, I graduated from Flint School of Massage. Intrigued to learn more, I also completed the Advanced Medical Massage program from Flint School of Massage. I was then invited to finish my education as a student teacher. I am now a certified instructor in massage therapy.

In addition to my original training, I have extensive subtle energy training. Some of these include the first and second levels of Craniosacral Therapy through the Upledger Institute International, certification as an Acupuncture detoxification specialist through White Wolf Healing and a facilitator of Raindrop Therapy massage using Young living essential oils. A combination of modalities may be used from the many tools in my toolbox.

I have worked as a massage therapist since 2006. I am a non-smoker!
